Abstract: Ultrasound-guided percutaneous thermal ablation of thyroid nodule is a minimally invasive interventional therapy technique that is safe and effective and can treat various types of thyroid nodules. Its main treatment methods include radiofrequency, microwave, laser ablation and anhydrous ethanol injection, among which radiofrequency ablation is currently the most widely used. Laser ablation is a new minimally invasive treatment method developed in recent years, and there are few reports about its application in the treatment of thyroid nodules. In this thesis, a brief overview of advantages and disadvantages of these methods in the treatment of thyroid nodules was carried out, after which it was concluded that laser ablation was the best treatment for thyroid nodule, thus providing references for future studies.
